With a wealth of knowledge amassed over 20 years in the disability sector, I have cultivated a profound understanding both personally and professionally. 

From the realm of early intervention to fostering growth in schools, teaching adult courses, implementing positive behaviour support, and even navigating the intricate dynamics of the acute sector and inpatient rehabilitation, my experience spans a diverse range of areas. 

My role as a disability consultant for esteemed institutions such as Bendigo Health and Latrobe University has enabled me to excersise my passion for advocacy and the contribution to the betterment of the community.

At the core of my unwavering commitment lies a fervent dedication to providing person-centred support that truly makes a difference. I firmly believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to flourish, and I approach my work with enthusiasm, ensuring that the journey is not only transformative, but also imbued with joy and fulfillment.

Equipped with a Certificate IV in Disability, my professional journey has been fortified by a solid foundation in customer service.

Over the course of the past five years, I have wholeheartedly dedicated myself to the disability sector, leaving an indelible impact on the lives of those I have had the priviledge to meet and work alongside. 

My invaluable experience encompasses diverse roles, including a compassionate classroom aide at the Bendigo Special Developmental School, a nuturing presence within the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Program, a dynamic Community Facilitator and Oncall Rostering Officer. 

These engagements have allowed me to witness first hand the transformative power of support (to individuals, their carers / families), and the immense joy that arises from assisting individuals with disabilities in living their best lives. 

Driven by an unwavering passion, I take immense pride in crafting innovating programs at Blue Feathers that foster confidence and empower those with disabilities. I strive to create environments that nuture growth, inspire self-assurance, and pave the way for individual achievements.
